Audrey Wubbenhorst: Your Voice for Oakville, Ward 5.

Audrey Wubbenhorst is a Ward 5 resident and HDSB school trustee running for Oakville Town Councillor. A college professor with extensive experience in business, social services and education, she brings deep expertise in governance and community service. Audrey has received a Volunteer Service Award for her work with the CNIB and holds an MA, MBA, and ICD.D designation.

Meet Audrey Wubbenhorst

Audrey Wubbenhorst is the HDSB school trustee for Wards 5 and 7 and is running for Oakville Town Councillor, Ward 5. Audrey works as a professor at a local college, teaching business and communications.

Audrey is currently Chair of the CAAT pension plan and a director with FirstOntario Credit Union. She has served on the board of Toronto Community Housing Corporation during a period of historic redevelopment and has chaired the Investment and Resident Services Committees. She also served on the board of BUILD Toronto (now CreateTO). For over a dozen years, Audrey worked for BMO Bank of Montreal in human resources, communications and commercial banking.

A Ward 5 resident, Audrey has been actively involved in the community. Her family has fostered cats with Ninth Life Cat Rescue and trained a guide dog for the Lion’s Foundation. She has volunteered with her children’s Girl Guides and Scouts groups. She has received a Volunteer Service Award for her work with the CNIB.

Audrey holds an MA in Communications, an MBA, and an ICD.D. designation from the Rotman School of Management. She has also completed the Rotman-ICPM Pension Governance Education Program.
